|Musical recordings by a rock band led by a veteran elementary school teacher who takes the lyrics from common tunes and changes them to help kids remember what they've been taught in school. Each of the fourteen songs on the album "Rockin' the Standards Math" uses mnemonics to help children recall information learned in school: angle names; mean, mode, and median; place value; skip counting; measurement and conversion; quadrilaterals; parallel and perpendicular; and much more. Preview song tracks, download a PDF of the lyrics, buy the CD, read about teacher Tim Bedley's band, see the schedule of upcoming gigs, watch music videos, see photos of the band, read reviews.|
