| Douglas Twitchell | |
| Math puzzles, brainteasers, strategy games, web quizzes, and informational pages. Flash-powered math games include Adders, Zap (slide tiles to move digits and add up to a specified sum), Side By Side (number re-arrangement), One To Ten (given four numbers, use arithmetic and grouping symbols to form the numbers 1 through 10), Sub Triangles (subtraction), Magical Squares, Math Scramble, Secret Number, Fractional Hi Lo, Concentration, Monty Hall, and Entrapment (re-arrange the gray circles in a grid so each red circle lies on the midpoint of a segment that connects them). Twitchell also explains the golden ratio, codes, and "slick math" -- "elegant solutions" to the locker problem, finding interior diagonal of a rectangular prism, reciprocals of integers and divergent/convergent series, and more. | |
