| Mike DeGraba is the Math Dude, bringing engaging explanations to Algebra I students in this series of videos. The 5- to 7-minute episodes are available via Flash on the web, podcast, RSS feed, and if you live in Montgomery County, MD, cable TV. Episodes are produced to coordinate with Montgomery County's curriculum timetable, but are available on demand from the site. Currently represented: unit 1 (graphic representations, solving one-step equation, solving multi-step equation, solving inequalities), 5 (matrices, the mean, the median and box & whiskers, probability, sample spaces), 6 (laws of exponents, dividing monomials, polynomial operations, multiplying polynomials, factoring, solving equations by factoring), and 7 (graphing parabolas, solving quadratic equations, exponential functions, properties of functions). | |
