|Teach for America|
|The national teacher corps of outstanding recent college graduates of all academic majors and cultural backgrounds who commit two years to teach in under-resourced urban and rural public schools. Each year about 1,000 corps members reach more than 100,000 students across the country, including students in under-resourced urban and rural public schools who need more talented teachers with backgrounds in math, science, or engineering. These individuals also need to be future leaders in their fields to serve as effective lifelong advocates for educational excellence and equity. Teach For America launched the Math and Science Initiative in response to both of these needs. Contact information is available onsite.|
