| Exhibit 1 is a JavaScript demo exhibit of the concentric hierarchy from the tetrahedron out to the rhombic dodecahedron. The shapes are all 2.3.4-fold symmetric. A status bar shows the volumes of the shapes when you select an isolated view. A cumulative view column gives you a way to superimpose the systems. The last control in each column adds a unit-radius sphere to the picture. See also Exhibit 2, showing 4-fold and 5-fold symmetric shapes including a rhombic triacontahedron. The exhibits require version a Java-enabled browser. | |
