| Kate Nonesuch | |
| In this review of the literature of approaches to adult numeracy instruction, Kate Nonesuch asks the question, "How can ABE math instructors apply research findings to their own teaching practice?" Through an extensive literature review and ongoing discussions with math instructors in BC, Ms. Nonesuch describes best practices in the field of adult numeracy instruction, while also recognizing that implementing best practices, getting instructors to be enthusiastic about teaching math and getting students involved in their learning, are difficulties that have to be overcome. | |
