| In this hands-on probability and statistics learning experience, students perform a coin toss experiment, then predict, analyze, and present their experimental findings with visual graphing representations. Throughout the 2010-2011 school year, students further contribute their experimental outcomes to a global project database and analyze the pooled data set. Students may also create a probability workbook that showcases the experimental results and experiences. With lesson plans, a teacher exchange for synchronous communication, a probability blog for students, and other supporting resources. | |
