| Matt Parker | |
| Parker uses funny presentations and hands-on activities to "make people more excited about maths." Watch videos of his comedy routines, including "Skills for bills," in which he introduces the notion of "standard meal units" for calculating each person's share of a group bill based on what that individual actually consumed ("Thanks to maths, we were able to subtract the problem that was dividing us all simply by adding peace and serenity"). This part-time math instructor at Queen Mary University of London also presents dynamic workshops on school visits throughout the UK. | |
