|Having earned her math doctorate in 2009, Salerno writes "about some of the challenges I've encountered while teaching, attempting to do research, and the lesser known aspect of 'service'" on institutional committees. In addition to blogging about "publish or perish," she reflects on "interesting 'professor-y' life experiences, conferences, giving invited talks, writing about math for a general public, reviewing math papers, writing math papers, trying to get students to be excited about math," and more. Posts, which date back to March, 2011, include "Test-making anxiety" and "Extra! Extra! (credit)."|
