| Simon Pampena | |
| Through school assemblies and other shared learning experiences, Numbercrunch "inspires students by combining energetic stand-up comedy with mathematics." Believing that "doing maths takes a lot of heart (and a sense of humour)," writer and performer Pampena entertains students "by solving problems together. As maths is an activity usually experienced on one's own, the shared experience helps students understand that solving problems is as much an emotional journey as it is an intellectual one." Watch clips from Australia's "You Can Do Maths" TV campaigns, and a "Maths Olympics" teaser filmed for National Science Week Tour. In these and other humorous send-ups of music videos, Pampena modifies the lyrics of rock and rap standards to motivate and inspire confidence in math students. | |
