| An educational outreach program of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), EarthKAM stands for "Earth Knowledge Acquired by Middle school students." Search the collection of images of specific locations on Earth, as photographed from space, along with accompanying learning guides and activities -- or request your own pictures during an EarthKAM mission. Initiated in 1995 by Dr. Sally Ride, America's first woman in space under the name KidSat. See also Sally Ride Science's GRAIL MoonKAM (Moon Knowledge Acquired by Middle school students). | |
