Description: Illustrations that model implementation of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for Mathematical Practice (MPs) and connect them to the content standards. Centered on student dialogues, each of EDC's eight Implementing the Mathematical Practice Standards (IMPS) Illustrations also includes a mathematics task, teacher reflection questions, and a mathematical overview. Funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), this EDC project also entails a professional development curriculum for teachers in grades 5–10.
