|By organizing a million mentors from industry, this organization hopes to provide "uplifting moments of discovery to children through real-world, hands-on projects and academic coaching" in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. The US2020 mentoring initiative "emerged from a White House call to generate big, innovative solutions to the United States' STEM education challenge, with a focus on increasing access to STEM careers for girls, underrepresented minorities in the sciences, and low-income children." Founding Partners include Cisco, Cognizant, and SanDisk.|
