|The Economist's lighthearted guide to currency alignment based on the theory of purchasing-power parity (PPP). Never intended as a precise gauge of currency misalignment, "Burgernomics" has made exchange-rate theory "more digestible" since 1986. Mouse over the map or table showing some 50 countries for line graphs of recent years' under-/overvaluation against the dollar adjusted for GDP; select a base currency from among US dollar, Chinese yuan, Euro, Japanese yen, and Sterling.|
