|Workshops for building control devices and performing classroom activities with calculator programs in order to explore relationships between math and science. Simple devices that give an immediate, physical, dynamic expression to abstract mathematical equations, math machines include the SAM (Science And Math) robot controlled by TI-83/TI-84 graphing calculators. Other classroom-ready materials include function plane and RGB Color Mixer activities. Based in part upon work supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF).|
