Simple devices that give an immediate, physical, dynamic expression to abstract mathematical equations, math machines include the SAM (Science And Math) robot controlled by TI-83/TI-84 graphing calculators. Other classroom-ready materials include function plane and RGB Color Mixer activities. Based in part upon work supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
