|A network for researchers improving science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education in, and outside of, schools through in-person meetings, a web site, common interest groups, newsletters, and more. See, in particular, the Project Smart Search, which gathers together over 600 K-12 projects doing innovative work in K-12 STEM education. A partnership among Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC), Abt Associates, Inc. (Abt), and Policy Studies Associates, Inc. (PSA), CADRE stands for Community for Advancing Discovery Research in Education. It receives funding from the Discovery Research K-12 (DR K-12) program of the National Science Foundation (NSF).|
