Description: Animations to uncover patterns that are foundational to elementary math, give multiple access points to engage everyone in discussion, and inspire educators and students to invent their own visualizations of math concepts. Addition and subtraction animations address the commutative property, the associative property, and "Make 10 Mountain." Counting and place value animations address counting by 1; counting by 10, 5, 2, and 25; and counting above 100. Everett is a first grade math specialist and a primary grades math consultant in Brooklyn, NY.
