|An effort to ease the increasing problems faced by libraries seeking to provide adequate stack space for the long runs of backfiles of scholarly journals, helping the scholarly community take advantage of advances in information technologies. The database is searchable and may be browsed by topic, including Economics, Mathematics, Population Studies, and Statistics. JSTOR uses high resolution images to store, display and print faithful replications of the pages that make up the complete published record of the journals in its archive. Articles may be printed using JPRINT or in PDF or PostScript formats.|
