|Multimedia computer-based courses in a variety of subjects, including mathematics and physics, for bright students of all grades, offered through the Stanford Continuing Studies Program. EPGY also researches computer-based distance learning instruction and other educational technology; download PDF research articles in exposition/pedagogy, education research, and design and technology, most of which focus on math. EPGY succeeds the Institute for Mathematical Studies of the Social Sciences (IMSSS), which in 1963 began experimenting with the use of computers to present instruction in mathematics and logic to elementary school students.
