|TERC, funded by the National Science Foundation, is a project that involves science classrooms around the world working together to design experiments, gather and share their data, and analyze the results. TERC's mission to improve math and science education is pursued through project work, with over 44 active projects funded by government agencies, private foundations, and industry. The projects form clusters in which the work of one project informs and builds on the work of others. Students and teachers communicate using World Wide Web browsers and data analysis software. The integrated suite of software tools includes a word processor, data table, graphing and mapping utilities, and telecommunications. TERC's links to project information are organized alphabetically and by clusters of work (see Mathematics of Change and Elementary Math clusters).|
