Description: John Allen Paulos is a mathematician and author of the books Mathematics and Humor, I Think, Therefore I Laugh, Innumeracy - Mathematical Illiteracy and Its Consequences, Beyond Numeracy - Ruminations of a Numbers Man, A Mathematician Reads the Newspaper,and Once Upon a Number. These books examine the logic of philosophy, humor, and even emotion, and the consequences of mathematical illiteracy. The site contains brief descriptions of each book and excerpts from their reviews, as well as various articles and book reviews.
