| National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) | |
| A project designed to assess what America's students know and can do in various subject areas. Since 1969, NAEP has periodically and across the country conducted assessments in mathematics, science, reading, writing, history, geography, the arts, and other fields. The site contains summaries of the assessments and findings, sample questions, how to use the assessments, how to participate in the project, and links to further resources. NAEP is a congressionally mandated project of the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), part of the U.S. Department of Education. | |
