*  Interactive Math Text Projects

The Mathematical Association of America's Interactive Mathematics Texts Project (IMTP), hosted by the Mathematics Archives (UTK), has its roots in the Mathematica Notebook concept, but is not limited to Mathematica.

Examples of interactive texts were displayed at the 1996 Joint Mathematics Meetings in Orlando, Florida at poster sessions, panel discussions, and special sessions. Here is related information from the Joint Meetings.

This promising pedagogy has excellent possibilities on the World Wide Web, where many interactive math projects can be found. Some of these are listed below; for more, browse the Forum Internet Mathematics Library: Web Interactive/Java.
