Back to NCTM San Diego: Assessment

This is the summary of a presentation given at the 74th Annual NCTM Meeting, 25-28 April 1996, San Diego, CA.

This session will focus on data collection and the construction of graphs, tables and charts. Participants will construct and interpret graphs, tables and/or charts and a variety of performance indicators will be considered in the assessment i.e. collection of data, construction of a graph and interpretation of data. A simple scoring rubric will be applied during the session so that teachers may gain practice in evaluating student performance.
