Back to NCTM San Diego: Interdisciplinary Math

This is the summary of a presentation given at the 74th Annual NCTM Meeting, 25-28 April 1996, San Diego, CA.

A World in Motion: The Design Experience --- Challenge II

This mini-course is a hands-on introduction to a unique, new set of curriculum supplement design challenges. The Engineering Design Experience provides a foundation upon which your middle school teaching team may integrate mathematics, science, and technology concepts; explore skills fundamental to students' life-long success and learning; discover dynamic new community resources; and (re)discover the exhilaration of learning. Special buses will meet at exactly 12:45 pm in front of the Convention Center to take participants to the Aztec Center at San Diego State University for the session.
