This is the summary of a presentation given at the 74th Annual NCTM Meeting, 25-28 April 1996, San Diego, CA.
This session will describe the curricular work that has been done in the development of a high school course that integrates the content of first-year algebra and biology. An outline of the course content indicating the topics and concepts which are integrated will be discussed. Sample hands-on activities and integrated lessons will be described during the presentation and provided to participants in a hand-out.
