Back to NCTM San Diego: Math Ed Reform

This is the summary of a presentation given at the 74th Annual NCTM Meeting, 25-28 April 1996, San Diego, CA.

Changes being advanced by the reform are meeting strong challenges from politicians, parents, and administrations. Evidence from a range of studies will be presented that the current mathematics reform is having a positive effect.
