Back to NCTM San Diego: Technology in Math Ed

This is the summary of a presentation given at the 74th Annual NCTM Meeting, 25-28 April 1996, San Diego, CA.

This presentation will highlight a wonderful new set of software programs which enhance the teaching of primary mathematics concepts. Children have a delightful time engaging in geometry, pattern and number sense activities. The games allow for both structured practice and free exploration. All are linked to real-life experiences and include suggestions for linking the software with hands-on classroom activities and home practices.
