NCTM San Diego
Presentation Summary

This is the summary of a presentation given at the 74th Annual NCTM Meeting, 25-28 April 1996, San Diego, CA.

In this workshop, we will examine the many ways that technology can be used by elementary school children and teachers to explore mathematical concepts. We will take a special look at how technology can be used in cooperative learning groups to inspire students to "talk math." Teachers will explore how to use video, videodisc, and computer software to present real world problems to students.Bruce Michael Green (Tom Snyder Productions, Inc., Watertown, MA)
