Susan's commentary

Prof. Takahashi's students are using computer algebra systems (Mathematica in particular) to create descriptions of 3-dimensional objects in VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language, a language like HTML that can be used to convey 3D information over the World Wide Web). These are then made available at an ftp site (IPR:133.30.128.1) so that users all over the world can view the objects.
