It's a Small World, and Getting Smaller

Right now my classmates and I are part of a cyberspace classroom. We are working with other teams of students across North America for solving math problems. It makes you wonder...how deeply does cyberspace affect our lives? If you are not aware of it yet, it affects our lives in many different ways: its a tool for learning, for amusement, for adventure, for job hunting, for connecting with other people who would otherwise remain strangers.

Cyberspace doesn't have to be only about school work. It can be entertaining and amusing. It can be an adventure. You can meet new people and talk with them through the Internet, which I think is absolutely amazing. You can play games, and even compete with other computer game fanatics all over the world. I read about that in the Cyberspace section of the New York Times on my classroom computer. You can keep up to date with the latest music and movies. All these things keeps our lives moving and makes it impossible to be bored, even on rainy days.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that cyberspace opens doors to a brighter and better future. You might come across some information that could help you with a career decision. The Internet can provide a means for even landing a job. You can paint a picture of your future. The more pictures you paint, the more options you have for a more perfect picture. Cyberspace is going to affect all of our lives, whether we have a computer or not.

The cyberspace age is as much our future as the stone age or iron age is our past and the technology age is our present. And cyberspace will change our lives as dramatically as the others.
