| Description: |
Simulates the problem of the probability of n loops forming if the ends of 4 strings are tied together. Students see a "bag" with 8 string ends randomly dispersed. Clicking on two ends ties them together. When all the ends have been joined, the bag reveals the number of loops that were formed. Students calculate the probability of n loops forming and determine the expected value. |
