|Description:||Students first use the seven "Quadrilateral Makers" (square maker, rhombus maker, rectangle maker, parallelogram maker, kite maker, trapezoid maker, and quadrilateral maker) to make a design of their own. They then use the Quadrilateral Makers to match a particular arrangement of seven shapes. In the process they reason about the various types of quadrilaterals and form and test conjectures about their properties and behavior. The link to the activity itself is to a zip file that contains both the activity sheets in pd format and the corresponding sketches.
