Description: Great collection of java applets that allow students to discover probability through experiments. It also includes all course notes from a Stanford Stats course. Applets include "The Birthday Problem", "Say Red," "The Collector" (also known as "cereal box"), Banach's Matchbox Problem, The Matching Problem, The IID Sequence, Polya's Urn as a restaurant choice, "Random Scatter" and "Traffic jams." Applets for visualizing probabilities include "Building a Probability Tree" and "Two-dimensional densities with Conditional Probabilities."
