Review based on:
introduction to a concept, practice of skills and understandings
A very easy to use tool for beginners. If I had the ability to project computers images in my classroom I would use this applet instead of my graphing calculator and that is saying alot
What math does one need to know to use the resource?
Just the basics about the form of the equation and the shape of the graph.
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource?
little or none, just be able to use a mouse.
What extra things must be done to make it work?
I would have to be able to project the image for the classroom to see to make this truly beneficial to me.
How hard was it for you to learn?
This applet requires little preknowledge to use. Maybe a short intro explaining the sliders would help some who are beginning computer users.
Ability to meet my goals:
Algebra: Quadratic Equations, Graphing Quadratics
Algebra II: Quadratic Equations
Tool: Parabola in Standard Form Review
