I truly believe that this application is mislabeled. It is a good exercise in adding and subtracting vector forces. Just saying a and b are complex numbers is not enough. There should be a way to display what a and b are in standard complex form: a+bi

from my use of applets I am pretty used to clicking the endpoint of almost anything and dragging it around the screen if possible. Maybe you should mention it in your directions
