I am a quilter and at times I encounter a really odd size, especially when working with geometrical shapes that are not square. I Googled for a converter tool that would convert decimals to 1/16ths, the common measuring unit of rulers.

What math does one need to know to use the resource?
Basic multiplication or division. A calculator is optional.

I am an accountant, and I have been sewing and quilting for 25 years. I had to develop these skills many years ago, but sometimes you need to be reminded of the basics.
