Review based on:
personal experience, student observations
applications of a concept or technique
I really did not like how there were no directions or visuals to help the students grasp the understanding. A conversion table would even be more beneficial than just typing in random numbers and having them converted with no explanation of how you arrive at the answer.
What math does one need to know to use the resource?
You need to already understand measurement of customary units to be able to use this tool, because of the lack of explanation or detail.
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource?
You need basic typing skills. However, sometimes when I entered in a value to be converted it replied with the symbol NaN and did not explain what that meant.
What extra things must be done to make it work?
I had to try to figure out the appropriate ways it wanted the customary units abbreviated or spelled out. This site is not very kid-friendly due to the lack of information.
How hard was it for you to learn?
No directions or detailed explaination of how they wanted you to enter the values.
