I discovered this tool during an exploration of MathTools as part of Drexel University's Educational Game Design class.
Appropriate for:
introduction to a concept, practice of skills and understandings
Other Comments:
This tool does a nice job of illustrating how a three-dimensional box can be broken down into its flat components. The user can also fill the box with various sized blocks, thus visualizing the concept of volume.
What math does one need to know to use the resource?
Basic geometric concepts: area, volume, etc.

None
How hard was it for you to learn?
Easy
Explanation:
I think that this tool could be explained a bit better, and that the instructions should not be hidden upon getting to the page, but it is easy to learn simply by experimenting with it.
