Review based on: I am an expert on computer rounding of numbers. I was Googling for "rounding numbers". I looked because I wanted to see how rounding was taught. |
Appropriate for: introduction to a concept |
Other Comments: I have no use for the lesson and would discourage its use.
For effective teaching, the lesson should relate rounding of numbers to the basic abstract concept of a number line and its possible division to (in this case) decimal numbers. It should not introduce pictures of pencils or bridge games. |
