I discovered this tool because I was looking for some resources I could use in a project I am doing on how to find the area of a regular polygon. I just did a search in the Math Tools library for "polygon area."

This tool visually illustrates the idea of how area changes as the number of sides of the polygon changes.
What math does one need to know to use the resource?
Formula for area of a triangle.
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource?
What extra things must be done to make it work?
You just download the Sketchpad file. You must have GSP on your computer in order for it to work effectively.
How hard was it for you to learn?
I just opened up the file and clicked on the links and it worked. There were no advanced steps that I had to try or work into.
