Other Comments: This motivates students to learn how to solve for all parts of a right triangle by using a video of the space shuttle. Then they can watch explanations of how to solve for missing parts of a right triangle. The students then practice finding the various parts of the triangle using a guided practice model. |
What math does one need to know to use the resource? --Sum of angles = 180
--Basic trig ratios

THIS IS BEST USED IN GEOMETRY CLASS. It is filed under solving trig equations, but it is really solving right triangles. It is not like the trig equations you would solve in a trig class. |

What extra things must be done to make it work? Download Flash 7.0. I never got the Flash to really work. |
