Review based on:
practice of skills and understandings
This is a great tool to help student understand slope, y-intercept, and the slope intercept formula. The only limitation I see is using the decimal form of a number vs. fractions.
What math does one need to know to use the resource?
Basic understanding of slope, y-intercept, and writing the equation of the line in slope-intercept form.
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource?
basic computer skills
What extra things must be done to make it work?
Students will need to know how to derive the slope and then use the slope-intercept form to find the y-intercept.
How hard was it for you to learn?
Very, very easy to manipulate.
Ability to meet my goals:
Math 7: Linear relationships; Algebra: Linear Equations
Tool: Linear Lasers Review
