Teacher Review (Not based on classroom experience)Reviewer: WandaB, Nov 4 2005 6:36PM |
Review based on: personal experience |
Appropriate for: practice of skills and understandings |
Other Comments: This is a great tool to help student understand slope, y-intercept, and the slope intercept formula. The only limitation I see is using the decimal form of a number vs. fractions. |
What math does one need to know to use the resource? Basic understanding of slope, y-intercept, and writing the equation of the line in slope-intercept form. |
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource? basic computer skills |
What extra things must be done to make it work? Students will need to know how to derive the slope and then use the slope-intercept form to find the y-intercept. |
How hard was it for you to learn? Very Easy |
Explanation: Very, very easy to manipulate. |
Ability to meet my goals: Very Effective |
