Appropriate for: introduction to a concept, practice of skills and understandings, applications of a concept or technique, advanced investigations |
Other Comments: Could be used for all of the above depending on how you use it. |
What math does one need to know to use the resource? No conventional math needed. |
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource? just keyboard literacy and some experience with using a computer |
What extra things must be done to make it work? This really could be used anywhere in the math curriculum. The teacher would have to figure that out. Please ignore the select courses and topics because it really doesnt apply here. I just clicked boxes so I could complete the review. |
How hard was it for you to learn? Very Easy |
Explanation: I like the design of these activities a lot. Very elegant, easy to use. I would recommend a worksheet to go along with the Season's activity. I had trouble putting the puzzle together though I knew in advance what the clues were telling me. It needs some background guiding questions. Accolades to the designers! Only one major problem its a stretch for a math teacher because all the math is implied. Nothing specific.
