Other Comments: I think math teachers have probably been waiting for a tool like this to use after having to put up with rubberbands flying across the room or being fearful of problems that might arise when using geo boards. This is a great tool not only use to teach about geometric shapes but also about perimeter, area, and fractions. The shading takes everything a step further and allows teachers to use this tool in many ways. I think this is a great tool that many teachers would love to be using in their classrooms either individually with students or as whole group instruction. |
What math does one need to know to use the resource? basic geometry, perimeter, area, fractions |
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource? drag and drop, select with a mouse |
What extra things must be done to make it work? nothing |
How hard was it for you to learn? Easy |
Explanation: I think this tool was fairly easy to use. I do think it would benefit teachers to demonstrate everything you can do with it before putting it into individual student hands. |
Ability to meet my goals: Effective |
