Review based on:
introduction to a concept, practice of skills and understandings, applications of a concept or technique
I think this would be a great tool for teachers and students to use to either learn or practice patterns and sequences. The only thing I would like to see changed would possibly have different levels of difficulty that you can choose from. For example: level 1 could be just color patterns, level 2 could be color OR shape patterns, and level 3 could be color, shape OR number patterns.
What math does one need to know to use the resource?
patterns and sequences
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource?
To be able to drag and drop objects, click on the "check buttont", manimpulating a computer mouse
What extra things must be done to make it work?
How hard was it for you to learn?
It was simple to learn. Young students would have no problem being able to figure this out, I think, with little or no instruction of how to play the game (obviously patterns and sequences would need to have be taught or worked on in class previously before students could work independently on this game).
Ability to meet my goals:
Kindergarten: Patterns and sequences
Math 1: Patterns and sequences
Math 2: Patterns and sequences
