Review based on: I am enrolled in a class entitled Using Technology to teach math. |
Appropriate for: introduction to a concept, practice of skills and understandings |
Other Comments: This is a great way to practice those factor trees. I feel that it would be helpful to model how to do a factor tree using this game and then, allow the students to practice this while monitoring them. |
What math does one need to know to use the resource? How to factor a number (multiplication facts) |
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource? Basic keyboarding skills |
What extra things must be done to make it work? none |
How hard was it for you to learn? Very Easy |
Explanation: The instructions are clearly written on the screen. However, students tend to not read directions. A teacher should model the game and explain how to play before "turning the students lose". |
Ability to meet my goals: Very Effective |
