Classroom use in Courses and Topics: Algebra: Linear Equations, Analyzing Linear Data, Linear Systems Algebra II: Solving systems of equations |
Duration of classroom use: One Week |
What did students learn? How to come up with a linear equation and compare graphs. |
What did students do with the resource? After a little kick start from me most came up with equations pretty quickly but only the advanced students handled the extra condition correctly with the fewer allowed minutes per month plan. |
How hard was it for students to use? Ok |
Appropriate for: practice of skills and understandings, applications of a concept or technique |
What math does one need to know to use the resource? How to come up with a slope intercept equation |
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource? Any TI Graphing Calculator |
How hard was it for you to learn? Ok |
Explanation: I had no problem with the PoW. Some of my students especially those in Algebra I have had very little experience with graphing technology.
