Review based on: personal experience |
Appropriate for: introduction to a concept, practice of skills and understandings |
Other Comments: This would be a terrific activity to use for practice. The neat part would be for students to figure out the relationship of the probability to how much actually burns. I would not want students to continue guessing. Estimating needs to be practiced and students should learn how to get close. |
What math does one need to know to use the resource? Students need to understand probability as well as estimation. There is a great connection to multiplication. |
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource? Students need only basic computer knowledge. |
What extra things must be done to make it work? I didn't have to do anything extra. |
How hard was it for you to learn? Easy |
Explanation: The tool was user friendly. I read the help tab before playing and it was helpful. |
Ability to meet my goals: Effective |
