Review based on:
introduction to a concept, practice of skills and understandings
This would be a terrific activity to use for practice. The neat part would be for students to figure out the relationship of the probability to how much actually burns. I would not want students to continue guessing. Estimating needs to be practiced and students should learn how to get close.
What math does one need to know to use the resource?
Students need to understand probability as well as estimation. There is a great connection to multiplication.
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource?
Students need only basic computer knowledge.
What extra things must be done to make it work?
I didn't have to do anything extra.
How hard was it for you to learn?
The tool was user friendly. I read the help tab before playing and it was helpful.
