Review based on:
introduction to a concept, practice of skills and understandings, applications of a concept or technique, advanced investigations
The interface is clean and reliable. I had no problem quickly plotting three functions and finding intersections. I like the ZOOM in via the mouse--VERY efficient. One could plot two functions, the difference of the two functions and note the intersection of a pair is the zero of the difference. Good stuff like that. Also, one can work on transformations of the basic functions, computing viewing windows that "recenter" the transformed graph. It's an excellent grapher.
What math does one need to know to use the resource?
The basic TI way of entering functions.
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource?
What extra things must be done to make it work?
Ran immediately after going to the site.
How hard was it for you to learn?
Everything laid out, not crowded, examples immediately showed proper syntax. Doesn't try to handle "4x"; instead, "4*x". I WILL use in class this term.
